Ft. Campbell, KY

While I usually use my blog to show off my kids and keep our family & friends updated on the latest Noffsinger drama, I want to post a prayer request for Ft. Campbell, KY army base and all of our men & women serving our country.  They need our prayers.  Please click here to read about the tragedy taking place in Ft. Campbell, KY and join me in prayer for our troops.

I WANT SOME!

Presley is in that stage where you can't eat or drink anything without her trying to get a drink/bite, too.  Mike is drinking chocolate milk and she is desperately trying to get a taste.

Poor girl never had a chance.

Just a couple of random pics of the kids that Keegan demanded I take while I had the camera out.

Sibling Love

I was cleaning up Keegan's room and plopped Presley on Keegan's bed to play with a few toys.  Keegan happily joined his little sister on his bed and gave me some great picture opportunities.  They truly love one another.

These bring tears to my eyes.

No words can describe how I feel when I see the two of them together and the love that is already present between them.

Thank you, God, for my two angels.

5 Months Old!

Presley is now 5 months old!  She is way into her feet - loves to push against you with them, grab them, etc.

My princess.

She is sitting up on her own now and has great balance.  She pretty much started doing this overnight.

She loves to roll around and stretch out on the floor.  But usually the feet come up.  She's such an angel - has been sleeping all night long for several months now and rarely cries.  She's really a happy baby!

My Monkeys

Monkey #1 giving Monkey #2 a drink of her juice.  He loves to help take care of his little sister.

Monkey #2 - she has to put her feet on everything.  She just about dumped herself out of her swing to be able to push her feet against the side of the swing.

I walked into the great room to find Monkey #1 reading a magazine in my laundry basket.

Handsome Monkey #1.  You can't take Monkey #2's picture without taking one of him also.

White Girls Can Jump!

Presley has figured out just what you're supposed to do in a jumparoo. She loves this thing and now I hate that we didn't have one for Keegan when he was this age. Keegan tries to steal her thunder by jumping in front of the camera. Excuse him running around in his underwear but as soon as he comes in from playing outside the shorts come off for some reason. Anyhow, enjoy my crazy kids!

"Walking" Around

Presley's little fat legs are finally long enough to sit in her walker and reach the floor.

I have pictures of Keegan in this walker when he was this age so of course, I had to take some of Miss Presley.

She enjoys being in the walker because she is upright and has lots to grab.  She's starting to push herself backwards in it.  I think that's exactly what Keegan did.

Mother's Day 2009

Happy Mother's Day to me!  I got two roses at church.  It was a great sermon and I enjoyed being there in the word of our Lord with my family.

Here are my two beautiful babies with me just getting home from church.

In addition to my new camera, I got 2 new bird feeders.  Keegan loves to watch the birds and loves filling up the bird feeders.  So I'm thinking this was more of a gift for him.  But my gift is the enjoyment I get from watching Keegan get excited about something.  So in the end I guess it really is my gift.  Mike grilled our lunch and dinner and we just enjoyed being together on this day.  I am truly happy!

New Camera = New Pics!

I got a new camera for Mother's Day and it's awesome!  I had to try it out immediately.  It has so many bells and whistles on it that I haven't figured out quite yet but I'm learning.  Here are the random pics I took as soon as I got it out of the box.  Presley napping....

Don't go in there!

Keegan is in that stage of his young life when cleaning up after himself is just painful. Some days are better than others, but he throws a fit a lot of the time when I make him clean up his toys before bedtime. Today, I've been trying to stay after him about putting things away once he's finished with them hoping that bedtime cleanup session won't be such a big ordeal. I sent him to his room to clean up some things he dumped in his floor. He came out a little to soon, leading me to believe that he probably didn't do what he was told. I asked him if he picked up his toys out of the floor to which he replied yes without hesitation. So I did the parent thing & told him I would be going in there to check. He ponders this for a moment & then says, "Don't go in there!"

Sleepy Kid

Keegan stayed up late the night  before waiting for his daddy to come home from his conference in Kansas City, MO.  He feel asleep in the shopping cart at the grocery store.  I had to wake him up to pay for our groceries.  Poor kid had groceries stacked all around him and was oblivious to it all.

To the Zoo!

After picking strawberries, we headed over to the zoo.  Here are the kiddos about to check out the animals.

Presley's first trip to the zoo!

These little prairie dogs were the only thing to hold Keegan's attention for very long.

Presley checking out the elephants.

Presley was worn out after all the zoo fun.

Strawberry Pickin'

The Agricenter here in Memphis has an orchard come plant strawberries so that we have an option to pick our own.  I thought it would be fun for Keegan to pick his own strawberries.  Mom & Dad were here visiting while Mike was at a conference in Kansas City, MO.  So we all headed out to the strawberry field.

Keegan did enjoy picking his own strawberries.  He really got into it.

Presley enjoyed hanging out and watching.

Peeper hard at work still picking while Keegan shows me the berries he's about to add to his bucket.

More strawberries going into the bucket.

The kids and me at the strawberry field.

Our yummy berries!

New Foods

Presley is trying out all sorts of new foods these days and so far we haven't found anything she really doesn't like. Cereal is not her favorite but she tolerates it. Here are some pics of some of the new foods she's been eating.

Bananas

Squash

Green beans

Carrots
