A New "Chair" for Keegan

Keegan spotted this truck at Target yesterday and it's his new favorite thing. He's pushed it all over the house. He loves it so much, he has to sit in in and watch his favorite show - Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

Funny kid, huh?!

GO KATS!

We took Keegan to his first Kats game (arena football). It was pretty exciting at first - there was alot going on to hold his attention.

Daddy helps him get a better view of the game.

Then his attention waivered and we had to break out his trucks for entertainment. Check out the video...

Keegan's First PRO Haircut

Mike and I finally agreed that we had to give in and find a pro to cut Keegan's hair. It's just too thick and long and trimming it is no longer an option. So after much asking around for someone who is great with kids (i.e. has A LOT of patience) we made the appointment. So here is Keegan before his haircut....

Here's an action shot. Sarah is cutting Keegan's hair and he is being so good. The cape didn't last too long, though. However, he was in heaven because she let him touch all of her stuff. Check out the video...

And here is our big boy with his new "big boy" haircut. Because he was so good we let him have his first sucker ever. And he LOVED it! Mommy almost broke down because he no longer looks like my baby. He's just getting so big!

My big boy. But he'll always be my baby.

We went to show Grammy and Gramps the new do and Keegan got to play in Grammy's car. What fun!

Father's Day

Unfortunately, I ended up with a nasty stomach virus right before the weekend and then Mike got it. So our weekend did not exactly go according to plan. Happy Father's day to Mike, huh?! Fortunately, Keegan never ended up with the bug so when Mike and I finally started feeling better we took him to a cool, new place called Fundom Kids. It's an old skating rink that a husband and wife have turned into a huge indoor play area for kids.

There were lots of cars and such to sit and ride on. Keegan was in heaven!

Trying out another...

And another. This one seemed to be his favorite.

Then he stopped to make a little snack in the kitchen.

Keegan and Daddy crawling in the toddler zone.

Keegan had fun crawling through a lot of soft blocks.

One of his favorite things is the train table.

Of course, he also loved the huge firetruck.

And then he found something to push around the floor. Check out the video....

Another Opry Mills Day

Keegan has a new fetish....pushing his stroller around. But he won't let you help, he wants to do it himself even though he can't see where he's going. Check out the video...

I finally talked Mike into eating at the Aquarium Restaurant. I just really thought Keegan would enjoy seeing all the fish.

And he did. He even got to see a scuba diver go into the water. I did manage to get a picture but it was really dark and I didn't think it would show up here. But we had a good meal while watching all the fish.

VROOOM!

That's the sound Keegan makes when he is playing with his favorite toy - his cars. We have started this kid a Hot Wheels collection and it's his favorite thing in the world. (Books run a close second). He loves to put his cars on top of our Bose speakers.

One carefully placed truck.

He's trying to add another truck. He's VERY careful while doing this.

It's amazing to watch him learn what works and what doesn't. I'm a blessed mom to be able to see this all day, every day.

Playgroup

Keegan and I have joined a playgroup and have made some great new friends! We've ended up meeting a couple of times a week rather than just once a month as it was originally planned. The kids seem to really be enjoying themselves on our outings and the mommies get some adult interaction in the process. So we all win!

Here are all our kiddos. Remy is on the left, Chloe in the middle, and then of course, Keegan. We went to an event at Rivergate Mall. It actually wasn't that great for little ones so we ended up doing a little shopping and having lunch.

Here's Keegan's new partner in crime, Remy. He's loving on his Pooh bear.

Keegan having some lunch and wanting out of his high chair REAL BAD! Obviously, not paying attention to Mommy.

And here's the subdued Chloe. She's the most laid back out of the three. I think she was ready to have herself a long nap.

Here's Keegan back at home wearing Daddy's sunglasses. KOOL KAT!
