We Gobbled Til We Wobbled

We started off our holiday in Madisonville, KY. Here, Aunt Sue antagonizes Rohan.

Peepers with his girls, Maya and K.O.

Keegan having his Thanksgiving meal and Daddy supervising.

See the fork in Wade's shirt pocket? We all just carried our fancy cutlery around with us and basically ate all day long.

These two were buddies all day long.

My cousin, Kyle and me. I can't remember the last time we had a picture taken together.

This is Keegan's cousin, Kaleb. These two ran round and round the island in the kitchen laughing so hard. They were big buddies by the end of the day.

Wade and me. Another rare pic.

I think K.O. had a thing for her Uncle Mike. Most of the evening she sat in his lap, rubbing his head. I think Mike even got an "I love you".

Pretending to be asleep. One of Keegan's favorite games.

Leigh with her oldest baby, Maya. Leigh doesn't seem too amused.

I'm missing Rohan and Wade, but here I am with my nieces and one nephew as well as Keegan. Wade was actually taking the picture.

Wade & Keegan - the oldest and the youngest grandchild.

Peeper with his youngest grandchild. I had no idea I would be dressing Keegan like his Peeper.

A very FULL and happy family.

After a couple of days in KY, we headed back into TN stopping in Hendersonville to spend time with Mike's family. Keegan is taking a break from exploring the house. He was very happy to be out of the truck.

The next morning Keegan discovered that his grandfather's rocking chair was just his size.

And he played with some of his daddy's old toys.

Keegan got into Grammy's yarn. He's got it draped around his neck but what you don't see is the big mess in the floor behind him.

Daddy playing the sleeping game with Keegan again. But Keegan was just about to be in a deep sleep himself.

Lucy and Fred nap together.

Whenever possible, Keegan wants to be outside playing. It was a bit chilly out but it didn't seem to phase him. He really enjoyed playing in the backyard with Gramps.

Keegan & Connor

Connor and his mommy, Jamie came over one afternoon so that Jamie and I could do a little scrapbooking. Keegan decided to sit and play with Connor for a while.

Here's Connor trying to take his toys back from Keegan.

Happy Connor. He is always flirting with me. Mike's got some stiff competition.

Keegan loved Connor's toy phone. Well, he loves any phone.

Memphis Zoo Starbuck's Tasting

We went to the zoo for the Starbuck's tasting (FREE) with some friends. It was a beautiful day for it, too! Keegan having a little coffee (no, we did not give him coffee - the cup is empty).

Marco Polo (AKA Mike)
The whole family in front of some friendly elephants.

Keegan was very happy with an empty cup and a stir stick.

We stepped up to see some bears and when we looked down, this is what we saw. Cool, huh?!

Growing Up

I realized that I didn't have any pictures of Keegan eating with a fork so I took a few. He's handling the fork very well these days.

What a big boy we have on our hands now.

YUM! YUM!

Keegan Does Strollerfit

After class one day our instructor, Jennifer invited the kids to participate in a mini strollerfit class. Here are the kids playing ring around the rosie.

Now they're stretching. Keegan is touching his toes.

Now they're reaching to the sky. I was really amazed at how well Keegan followed along.

Here's a short video of the kids playing ring around the rosie.

Racing for Marshmellows

Keegan has a slingshot that Mike occasionally shoots marshmellows with and Keegan and Lucy race to see who can get it first.

Mini Me

Keegan went into our closet and got one of Mike's ties off the tie rack. He knew exactly what to do with it - immediately putting it around his neck. Mike tied it for him and he walked around for a while wearing it. Gonna be just like his daddy....

Meet Connor

This is our friend, Connor. He and his parents, Jamie and Tom came over for dinner one night. Jamie and I did some scrapbooking and Tom and Mike entertained the boys. Mike discovered just how to make Connor laugh. He had a water bottle about half full and was shaking it at Connor. Here he is belly laughing....

No More Baby Stuff!

Over the weekend, we converted Keegan's crib into a toddler bed. My baby is growing up.

He was SO excited about this new change. He loved being able to climb up and down on the bed all by himself.

He's fascinated with this drill. He was a big help to Daddy.

We've had no problem with him getting out of bed at night. He gets in and goes right to sleep after his bedtime story and sleeps all night long. In the morning, you can hear him get up and then knock on his door waiting for us to come and get him.

I'm a big kid now!

Happy Birthday, Courtney!

The day started out very lazy. We all woke up late and laid around. Then Mike and Keegan took a nap on the couch together while I read my book. Here's my sweet baby boy napping on his Daddy.

Then we did a little shopping and had dinner at my all time favorite restaurant, Bonefish Grill. It was SO DELISH!

Happy family with full bellies.

Keegan playing with his pup, Lucy. I had a great 33rd birthday!

Arlington, TN BBQ Burnout

We went with our friends to the Arlington BBQ Burnout - a BBQ contest held annually. We had some great BBQ and Keegan and his friend, Jack had a great day together. Here he is bouncing around.

Sweet boy - still bouncing!

The biggest hit of the day was this slide. He and Jack wore the daddies out climbing up just to slide back down.

Keegan greets Daddy after he slides down.

Of course, Keegan found the fire truck and could have stayed there for hours.

Keegan and Jack are looking through a hole on the side of the truck.

The owners of the truck (this was an old, retired truck) saw the boys playing on the truck and allowed them to climb inside and explore.

Then we left there and headed over to the park. Keegan's trail riding.

Keegan and Jack at the top of the slide.

A not so flattering pic of me going down the slide. But at least you know I was actually there.

At the end of the day, we went to Bass Pro Shop - one of Mike and Keegan's favorite places. Here's Keegan driving one of the boats.

And of course, we had to check out the four wheelers. We had a great day together and slept VERY well that night.
