More Baby Pics

Today we went back to the doctor for another ultrasound just to check on the baby.  The baby has grown quite a bit since the last ultrasound and was moving his/her arms and legs around.  When Keegan saw the movement, he waived to the baby.  We heard a good, strong heartbeat at 174 bpm and Keegan was upset when the ultrasound tech turned it off.

Though I'm 9 weeks along tomorrow, the baby is measuring 9 weeks, 5 days.  Keegan was great support for me.  He loved on me during the entire ultrasound.  He's been carrying the pictures around waiting for Daddy to get home to see.  "Baby!"  he shouts.

Mother's Day

My baby boy and my baby ??? on Mother's Day.  I got flowers as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner with a little ice cream thrown in.  It was a good day.

8 Weeks

Here I am 8 weeks pregnant and already looking as if I'm carrying a litter.  I'm still nauseous most days but it is starting to get a bit better.  Still having no cravings, though and not really much of an appetite until it's bedtime and that seems to be when I want to eat.  On May 8th, we had our first official OB appointment and Dr. Tinker says all is well.  Everything looks great and there are no concerns.  Our official due date is December 18th - the day after Keegan's birthday.  Talk about some financial planning this holiday season!  But Mike and I just laugh about it.  It's all God's plan and we're more than willing to go along with it.  I actually lost a couple of pounds this go round but that's not uncommon in early pregnancy when it's accompanied with nausea.  Keegan loves on the baby quite frequently and anytime you ask him, it's a girl or a sister.  He's going to be a fantastic big brother!  PRAISE GOD FOR ALL OF OUR BLESSINGS!

Our Weekend At Pickwick Lake

On a whim, we drove down to Pickwick Lake just to get away for a night.  It was beautiful down there and we enjoyed it very much.  This picture was taken on the way home at a store similar to Bass Pro Shop.  Keegan had to check out the four wheelers and such.

The helmet was a little big.  He wore it longer than we expected.

We also stopped at Casey Jones Village in Jackson, TN to let Keegan check out the trains.  He didn't want to leave.

Our little engineer.

This is a caboose that is an actual hotel room.  Keegan was trying desperately to get inside.

We drove into Shiloh, TN and drove through the park where the Battle of Shiloh took place.  It was actually very interesting.  Keegan checks out one of several canons.

He wanted to climb all over them.

The National Cemetery.

More four wheeling.

This is Pickwick Lake.  Mike and Keegan are skipping rocks.

Picking out more rocks.

Enjoying some sunshine by the lake.

This is Cherry Mansion.  Ulysses S. Grant was having breakfast here the morning that the Battle of Shiloh began.
