Cedar Hill Farms, MS

We went with some friends to Cedar Hill Farms in Hernando, MS. They have tons of things for kids to do there, but this time of year we were most interested in the pumpkin patch. Here we are at breakfast with our friends Michele and baby Kayla. Keegan fell asleep on the way there.

Just the girls - Me, Michele and Kayla, and Jamie

Here's Keegan with his best buddy, Jack loaded up with pumpkins from the pumpkin patch. Mike pulled them both around in the wagon for a good part of the day.

Here's Keegan feeding a friendly goat.

Keegan checkin' out some pumpkins.

A rare pic of the whole family.

Keegan's running on top of the hay maze instead of through it.

He's picked out his pumpkin, but can't quite pick it up.

So he calls Jack for reinforcements.

After the farm, we went back to Jack's house where Keegan pulls Jack around in his tractor. These boys play so well together and had such a great day!

A Few Extras

This is a very happy boy. He just got a new car, Ramone from the movie "Cars".
Mike and Keegan are just playing around together on the couch.

Our Budding Artist

These are actually crayons, created by Crayola for beginners. We thought these might help discourage Keegan from taking a bite out of crayons. No such luck. But he is learning to share. He's sharing with Mommy.

The towels were an attempt at protecting my dining room table from any further damage.

He enjoys coloring but in short bursts. His attention span wavers after a bit and because this activity requires sitting, it's very short lived. But Mommy and Daddy now have that first picture hanging on the fridge.

Cotton Pickin'

Living down here in Memphis, we are surrounded by cotton fields - something we had never seen before.
Daddy and Keegan are taking it all in.

Keegan's pickin' a piece of cotton. Is this right, Peepers?

St. Jude Showcase of Dogs

We took Keegan to the St. Jude Showcase of Dogs thinking he'd enjoy seeing the dogs and he really did. This is a picture of a relay race which made Keegan laugh out loud....

Here he is watching the relay race and laughing out loud.

And here he is asking for more. He wanted more of the relay race.

The Fire Museum of Memphis

We went to the Fire Museum of Memphis my boys had a BLAST! I'm not sure who was more excited - Mike or Keegan. This is an old fire station that has been turned into a museum and a play area for kids. It really was awesome.

Keegan and Mike are standing in front of the Memorial Wall outside of the Museum.

This is the front of the old fire station.

Here are the boys playing inside of one of the fire trucks.

Keegan taking charge.

Here, Keegan is feeling of the door to see if it's hot. They teach kids fire safety here as well.

Keegan is dressed and ready to go to a fire.

This horse talks, gives a little history about the Fire Museum. Keegan was pretty intrigued. We had such a good time and Keegan didn't want to leave. Neither did Mike!

A New Truck for Keegan

Grammy and Gramps came to visit and brought Keegan a new truck and a new ball.

The new truck was obviously the favorite. It's actually a bull dozer but Keegan only knows "truck".

Keegan's First Sushi

Mike and I were craving sushi one afternoon. We went in with intentions of ordering something different for Keegan but saw they had a children's sushi pack. So we ordered that and Keegan really liked it. Don't worry, everything he ate was cooked.
