Vacation {Take Four} - Wrightsville Beach, NC

The Cape Fear River runs through Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach.  We rented a boat and headed out on the river for a couple of hours.  It was actually supposed to rain that day.  Otherwise, we'd probably have rented it for the whole day.  The kids were excited about the boat but not excited about the lifejackets they had to wear.  Not even a little bit.  

Mike and I were thrilled to be out on a boat again.  The sites along the river were gorgeous!

Presley REALLY had a hard time with the lifejacket.  She was quite fussy in the beginning.

Then both kids began to relax and get a bit on the sleepy side.  

Really sleepy...

They both woke up feeling refreshed and enjoyed the rest of their boat ride.

Keegan loved it when we would cross the wakes of other boats.

Presley began to accept the lifejacket about the time her ride was over.

That night, we took a walk on the beach.  The kids had flashlights and did a bit of exploring.  I did not have the right lens for these pics so they're a little dark.

A washed up jellyfish.  Keegan was in awe.
